Family Reunion Photos and the hidden benefits of doing them

Becoming a Guelph Neighbourhoods' Photographer

Here is how my local Guelph neighbourhood magazine assignments became one of many ways for me to contribute and give back to my terrific community. Since moving to Guelph in 2016, I have been constantly amazed by what this city has to offer and how it has made us feel. Undoubtedly, we have only had good memories so far. Therefore, I wanted to ensure I helped welcome other families lucky enough to relocate to this amazing "royal city" and…

First Communion photos at Loafer’s Park in Brampton

Taking First Communion photos during the COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging. Like anything nowadays it seems, we have had to pivot and adjust how we usually document this important milestone for kids and their families. Recently, I had the privilege of taking photos of an entire school's First Communion ceremony held at their local church. The reason I blog

This blog is for you …

While photography is my art, people are my passion. I love when I can connect with new and returning clients, taking the time to nurture relationships and experiencing life milestones alongside them. If you have worked with me, you know that I like to utilize my experience and share with you as much as I can to ensure that your photo session, wedding, or event is the absolute best it can be for you. I get such satisfaction to see you in your element during your session, capturing your smiling eyes and genuine emotions for your memories.

On this same note is how I approach my photography blog. It is another way for me to share information, tips, and inspirations with you. Perhaps you are looking for some ideas on what to wear for your next session, or how to prepare for a stress-free photoshoot with young children. Or maybe you are currently researching venues and would like to see what they have to offer. Through my blogs, I help to answer your most frequently asked questions and guide you towards achieving your vision for your session. My clients tell me that these articles have been very helpful when they were organizing their own photoshoot. They give you a chance to witness what opportunities a location can provide, how a particular season translates to images, and what style of photography would be best for your session.

You will have an opportunity to view images from a real photoshoot in my blog posts, see firsthand what a session with me looks like and what you can expect. While my social media platforms and portfolio page give you a glimpse of some of my work, in my blog you will find images to illustrate the entire session or event from start to finish. I sincerely hope that you find these posts to be helpful, informative, and educational for you as well!
